STORY
I started Axolote Space the moment I saw the gap between the tech world and everyday people, where some wanted to learn and keep advancing yet the public information was too technical to truly be considered accessible. The goal is simple: make the benefits of AI and modern technology accessible to everyone.
Why Axolote?
The name comes from the axolotl, an animal close to Mexican culture and a symbol of regeneration, both meaningful to me at the time. It came during a career break, while I was volunteering with the Woodland Park Zoo's Amphibian Monitoring Program. Someone asked my favorite amphibian, and the answer took about a second.
Who it's for
I built this as a Spanish-first service because the Hispanic community has too often been set as second priority by existing companies and institutions. Small businesses and individuals belong at the heart of this work, building relationships that strengthen the community and move us toward a better future.
